|Manual||Every 30,000 to 60,000 Miles|
|Automatic||Every 60,000 to 100,000 Miles|
All types of transmissions—including automatic and manual—require transmission fluid changes. However, every transmission has different intervals.
If your vehicle boasts a manual transmission, it’s smart to schedule your transmission fluid change every 30,000 to 60,000 miles. On the other hand, if your model has an automatic, you can wait until 60,000 to 100,000 miles!
It’s important to remember, however, that this is just a rule of thumb. Every transmission is different and how and where you drive plays a part in when you should make your appointment. For example, if you off-road, tow, or haul often, you may want to visit our service center sooner.
For the recommended interval of transmission fluid changes from your manufacturer for your specific model, refer to your owner’s manual.
Not sure when your last transmission fluid change was? Chances are your vehicle will let you know. Watch for the following warnings, and if you notice any, schedule a transmission fluid change at our service center as soon as possible:
